United States National Standard (ANSI) ANSI/ESD S20.20 was adopted on August 4, 1999. There are now 2007 revisions and 2014 revisions. This standard covers the basic conditions required for the ESD control process in the design, manufacture, use and maintenance work. This standard is a system standard for electrostatic protection and is internationally accepted. The following newly published and revised documents form part of the above-mentioned standards.

* American National Standard (ANSI) 
* Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Association Standards

Standard level on the International Electrotechnical Commission IEC is higher than the American National Standard ESD S20.20 a level of international standards, the impact of a wider range of countries in Europe and Asia, such as Japan and South Korea and other countries prefer to implement the IEC standards.

*  IEC International Electrotechnical Commission standards

This standard specifies the definition of ionized static eliminator, product structure classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and signs, instructions, packaging, transportation and storage.
* China Industry Standard
This specification specifies the test methods for antistatic of electronic product manufacturing and application systems.
* China Electronic Industry Standards
This standard specifies the defense electronics industry anti-static work area design, construction, use and military equipment should have anti-static technical requirements.

* China National Military Standard (CNMS)
