The electrostatic removal air knife system is a customized product that provides excellent surface cleaning and drying. The system consists of a blower with an air knife, which, when combined with an Angstrom static elimination rod, causes the exhaust air to blow through the high-pressure tip of the ion rod at high velocity. The ions produced by the tip are blown away at the same time, neutralizing the electrostatic charge on the product, and this combination of ionization and strong blowing makes the surface of the product clean. It eliminates electrostatic charges and removes particles from flat or profiled surfaces, and can be applied to large workpieces for cleaning car and truck cabs before painting. The use of blowers instead of compressed air has reduced operating costs by 30 to 70 percent.
