Application case of ion air rod in eliminating human static electricity in air shower room

Project Background

In high cleanliness production environments such as electronics, pharmaceuticals, and food, personnel need to go through an air shower room for dust removal before entering the clean area. However, static electricity generated by friction during walking or changing clothes can easily adsorb suspended particles, dust, and even microorganisms in the air. The pollutants adsorbed by such static electricity are difficult to completely remove through air shower and may be brought into the clean area, causing environmental pollution and affecting product quality, especially posing significant risks to static sensitive components and sterile products.

Solution

To improve the dust removal effect before personnel enter the clean area, ion air rods have been installed in the outlet area of the air shower room. This device is designed to solve the cleaning blind spot caused by human body static electricity adsorption particles during the air shower process: After completing the air shower, personnel can briefly stay in the exit area for a few seconds. At this time, the static elimination rod releases a balanced positive and negative ion flow, quickly neutralizing the static electricity carried on the surface of the human body and clothing, completely eliminating the static electricity adsorption force. Particles and microorganisms that have lost their electrostatic confinement are more easily removed under the action of residual air flow or natural sedimentation, significantly improving overall cleaning efficiency.

The ion rod has the characteristics of uniform coverage and no dead corners, which can adapt to personnel of different body types and clothing materials, ensuring consistent and reliable static electricity neutralization effect. This measure not only enhances the dust removal capability of the air shower process, but also reduces the risk of contamination of the clean environment by personnel carrying particles, especially suitable for production fields such as electronic components and pharmaceutical sterile products that require extremely high static and particle control.
